History in the Making, Scottish heritage consultants History in the Making (Heritage Consultants) is a heritage management consultancy established in 1996. We want people to enjoy aspects of our heritage that give uplift, pleasure and fulfilment. Our core activities are historical research and writing, archive management, training and education, exhibition planning, interpretation, marketing and development planning. We were trained in research and writing and can offer a specialised research service for business as well as copy editing, indexing and proof reading. We conduct projects for educational institutions, publishers, museums, and private and public organisations. We also offer technical services to lawyers and media professionals. In addition, we can solve the problems presented by early scripts and ancient languages. We specialise in transcribing early handwriting and translating historical documents from Latin and Scots into English.
